Coco Maria is a fantastic and fun tour guide! She is personable, accommodating, and kind. Her love and passion for Kauai and the people who live there was was very apparent. As we toured the sites we were taken back in time as she gave us interesting facts, legends and stories about Kauai’s rich culture and history! Coco Maria drove us to places with picturesque views and gave us information about the floral and fauna at each place we stopped along the tour. This tour was educational, fun, and beautiful!! I highly recommend this tour given by Coco Maria of Kauai Soul Travel!!

Coco was an excellent and attentive tour guide/driver. She interacted with all of her guests and paid attention to the details. She was quite knowledgeable of Kauai tour sites as well as the history, plants, animals and much general knowledge. Ask her for dining and activities recommendations for your stay.

Best way to see the West side of Kauai. Really enjoyed the whole day seeing the vast canyon and other locations. Coco is a fun and knowledgeable tour guide. Communication with her was excellent, since our original trip was canceled and she had to reschedule for another day. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Coco, was so entertaining and informative. She gave us plenty of time to explore, take pictures, etc. The lunch was excellent as well. She gave us a lot of history about the islands and even gave us tips on eating, beach outings, etc. I can’t wait to book another trip with her when we come back! Loved her and the adventure we had with her! Mike & Deb

This tour turned out to be our best day in our weeklong stay in Kauai thanks to Coco our driver, guide, local historian and all around great guide. This was a small group tour which gave us all time ask questions and share our thoughts about each of the stops. Coco does great prep for her tours and searches out the spots to see that somewhat less traveled by the other Island guides. The first stop of the day was pure genius at the Kauai Coffee Company just after it opened to tour the plantation, sample their beans and enjoy an awesome cookie. The stops in the Waimea Canyon and Kokee Park were beatiful. And a great lunch at the lodge in Kokee. As others have said you can arrange your tours directly with Kauai Soul Travel. Private tours are available too.

The scenery was AMAZING and Coco made it that much better. She was very knowledgeable about the Hawaiian history and culture. My only regret is not doing this tour sooner. She gave us a lot of info on where to eat and beaches swim.

Visiting the west side of Kauai, the Waimea Canyon, Waimea and Kokee State Parks and other sites was made very enjoyable by the tour company owner/guide/driver, Coco Maria Louisa. She is a vivacious Hispanic lady who made Hawaii her home. She is well informed about history, flora and fauna and geology. In addition, she is also funny and makes sure everyone enjoys the tour. The scenery was gorgeous. The lunch at Kokee Lodge Restaurant was delicious. I suggest that rather than booking through a third party, look up her company's phone number and make reservations directly. She said she would customize a private tour also.

Best day ever!!! My husband and I had been on the island for a week already, I personally thought we had seen so much of the island with kayaking/hiking, the ATV adventure, the botanical garden tour, and also having a rental car we had explored what I thought was the majority of the island, so I wasn’t sure I would enjoy this tour, but OMG was I wrong!!! Coco was amazing, her island energy was infectious, she took us first to the coffee plantation which blew my mind!!! A totally beautiful place with so much history. Coco made it fun with some trivia that we all enjoyed as we embarked onto our next point of interest, every stop was breathtaking, and all the knowledge that Coco shared was AMAZING!!! Then when we got to the Koke’e Lodge for lunch, where I enjoyed the avocado toast and my husband the loco moco, and upon the suggestion from Coco to try the Lilikoi Chiffon pie, we were happily fed and loved all the food!!! And the added bonus of getting 10% off our check…whoop whoop!!! This tour was hands down was the best day of our trip!!! Coco who is also the owner of Kauai Soul Travel is truly a delightful person who ensured we were all informed as to what happening and shared so much of the history and Aloha spirit, the van had picked up a piece of metal in the tire, and I can only imagine how stressful that would be but Coco ensured we all were informed and safe at all times!! Even with the tire, Coco was aware of the other couples evening plans and ensured even with the tire, we all got back in time for dinner luau plans. The tour was even better then what was described when we booked!!!! I am so thankful for the amazing day that Coco provided for us!!! This tour is so good, a couple who had been on this tour earlier in their trip had booked it again for the day we went!!! In my opinion that speaks volumes about how amazing it is!!! I strongly recommend this tour to anyone, it’s a beautiful way to see the island, with an amazing guide!!! Mahalo Coco and A hui hou

So I would like to say first and foremost the tour guide Coco Maria is awesome and very knowledgeable about the area and you can see she has a passion for what she does! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the overall experience of what we were expecting was less and especially for the price of the experience. We did a similar tour of places in Maui a few years back and you felt more immersed in the experience. I think it’s based on expectations- what the descriptions stated on the various websites and how it was “sold to you” versus what the tour ended up being. I would kind of compare this tour to a “hop on hop off tour” with commentary. You go to various places- take pictures of them and then hop back on and hear more about the area. If that is what you want/expecting than you will love this tour.
