The view was perfect. I have bad knees so the distance to the beach was short and accommodating with rails for support. Bathrooms on the beach. Family oriented. The rooms very clean and beautifully decorated. Games supplied for family fun. The patio deck had beautiful furnishings. Would book this site again.

The location was great for us. Enjoyed watching the ocean from the deck. Saturday morning there was a bunch of surfers. Was fun to watch. Keyless entry didn’t work very well so they had a lock box as back up. Was doable. Windows and ceiling fans could use a good cleaning. The rest of the house was clean. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the house was cozy.

We love Surfside Beach. It's small and not commercialized. If you are a walker or bike rider you literally don't need your car. It's only about 35 minutes from Galveston if you want that vibe, but then you can come "home" to your beach house you are staying in. The beach is so clean and a delight to walk on. The pier is great for fishing or just watching others fish. Watching the ships come in is fun too. Dolphins playing are always so fun to watch. We always do our own cooking, but there are several good restaurants. We've been coming here for years and will continue.

We visit Surfside twice each year. This house was one of the best but the description says it is located steps from the beach, which is untrue. You can barely even see the ocean from this home and there is no beach but a brick wall that allows you to park and look at the ocean. Also, there is a new house under construction right next to this one, so we were awakened each morning at 8 am to hammers and saws and construction workers so it was a little less relaxing than we had hoped. Quite a lot of traffic noise in this area as well.

Surfside Beach is our getaway. Beach was literally right outside our hotel room.. view was nice. The only disappointment is that the Seahorse was close through out our stay. Apparently due to tech issues. Which I believe should have been resolved immediately to accommodate guest staying at ocean village..
