After taking our 1-hour winter shuttle bus from Port Angeles to the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center, we generally have about 4-5 hours to enjoy Hurricane Ridge. Our snowshoe is scheduled to operate atop the Ridge from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (weather depending).

Our meet-up location is in Port Angeles, WA, which is the main epicenter for exploring Olympic National Park. Please note that this is about a 3 hour one-way trip from Seattle.

Both my husband and I and 3 others from our camera club had a great time on our snowshoeing trip with Olympic Hiking Company, and plan to book them in the future for more trips. Although this was strenuous for us, the views were amazing and the photo ops incredible. We're in our 70's and fairly active but snowshoes were a challenge. We got through about half of the trail though and spent the rest of the afternoon shooting photos of the snow boarders and the incredible skies forming over the mountains. The sandwiches the company provided were DELICIOUS and its no surprise that they came from Country Aire Natural Foods. Can't help but put in a plug for them. Our bus driver was also very kind as to keep the bus warm for those of us who couldn't finish the tour. Thanks to all!

These guys are amazing. Enthusiastic, friendly, personable and professional. Highly recommend. They treated us like we mattered and could not have been more accommodating with the entire group. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again

I'd never done anything like this and it was fantastic! It was easy to get used to the snowshoes. The guides, Eric and Tommy, were full of useful information and humor which kept us entertained while hiking. We were lucky to get a clear day up at hurricane ridge. Down in the town it was overcast, but up there we were above the clouds/fog. The Black Ball(?) van ride up was quite a benefit, as there was a long line of cars waiting to get up the hill and we were able to get the express lane. I've been up to hurricane ridge before, but it was so nice to have Wayne drive up so I could enjoy the view. I will gladly do this tour again next time I am up this way to see the area under different conditions.

Had an excellent day snowshoeing with Olympic Hiking Co on Hurricane Ridge. Although the morning weather was cloudy and overcast (no optimal for viewing the Bailey Range), it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Everything about the day was beyond amazing! The equipment, guides, shuttle bus and lunch (pre ordered sandwich which was so yummy) were all exceptional. Our guide Eric, had great nature stories and fun tidbits to share. Looking to book an Olympic National Park 3 day backpacking trip next with Olympic Hiking Co.

What an awesome day! The guides were fantastic. Not only did we have a great work-out at one of the most beautiful places on earth but we learned so much about the surrounding area from very knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend.

This was our first snowshoeing experience and it was a memorable one! We were guided by Tommy and Eric, both of whom were wonderful people. I was impressed by their knowledge about the park, safety practices, and nature. They offered informative tidbits about the flora and fauna as we hiked. They kept a positive attitude and offered tons of encouragement for us newbies. If I were to do this trek solo, I might have felt intimidated at times, but having a knowledgeable guide inspired confidence the whole way. I'd easily recommend snowshoeing with them any day!
