  With this ticket there was no issue with admission. The experience was amazing from the sculpture garden to the gift shop and the staff was helpful and insightful.

  This is all about work and working people. It begins with the pre-industrial era. There are paintings centered around iron making, mills and agriculture. I especially enjoyed the representations of railroading and steel making. The sections dealing with medicine is also fascinating. Don't miss the lovely rooftop sculpture garden. You can start there and work your way down to basment cafe.

  Our group of 8 loved the entire collection! We were pleased to see such a variety of artwork demonstrating labor workers throughout the years. Gave us a better appreciation for the work of laborers of the past. The roof top collection of sculptures was a one of a kind and what a view!

  This place is amazing and the staff was so nice and kind. As we strolled through the art work we were amazed at the detail and also I was impressed by the amount of art work. While there we went to the out look of the city great. I can’t imagine what it might be at night 🥰

  We had a good time at this museum. There were 3 floors of various worker art and a beautiful rooftop garden which featured large size sculptures of workers. You can easily spend a couple hours here looking at all the interesting and creative works of art. Highly recommend if your near the area.

  The highlight is definitely the rooftop sculpture garden, but the Grohmann Museum offers a unique insight into the way artists have depicted labour over the years. My main criticism is that it is a personal collection so the works on display reflect Mr Grohmann’s prejudices - there are few Black people and the workers are largely male. Even so, I spent two hours here and learned a lot.

  A true hidden gem. Beautiful rooftop garden, impressive art collection which exceeded expectations. Staff above and beyond helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Stained glass room a must see! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

  The entire museum is fabulous. What a find. I forgot the name of the woman at the desk, but she was fabulous, guiding us a little in the museum, but mainly just pleasant, informative and interactive. The man was also was enjoyable to interact with. If everyone working there is like these two, you have a wonderful group. The exhibits are excellent and quite unique. This is a gem in Milwaukee.

  This was a great find! A rather large collection of really great art depicting many different types of occupations- some of which were rather unusual. The rooftop statue garden was really unique. My son and I had a good time meandering through the collection. The staff member on duty was friendly and very polite and we even got a free calendar and guide book to the collection.
