Let's turn San Antonio into a giant game board! Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive smartphone adventure hunt that combines the fun of the "Amazing Race" with a three-hour sightseeing tour of San Antonio, Texas - a city deep in the heart of Texas with a rich history of courage and sacrifice for freedom. Guided from any smart phone, your group will make its way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. And, you can compete against other groups for the best score. The tour requires approximately 2.0 miles of walking. Using a smartphone as your "guide" allows your team to start when you want and determine your own pace of play. You'll start you in the center of this historic city and will take you back in time to explore the grounds of the Alamo. Your adventure will then guide you down along the River Walk and through the streets to enjoy the modern-day sights and sounds of the city while finding historic and unique hidden gems. Offered at a fixed price for a group as opposed to per person pricing, this city tour/game offers a great value if you're on a budget.

We are from San Antonio and spend a lot of time in the city. This was a challenge to even us, and it was so fun to see things we know and love from a totally different perspective.

The scavenger hunt was a lot of fun and took us to off-the-beaten-path areas around the River Walk. Even our friends, who have lived in San Antonio for 11 years, learned and saw things they hadn’t before. We just wish we had gone earlier in the day before it got too hot.

Fun, but wasn’t sure what to expect or how long it would take. We played for about 3 hours and then had to quit at #10 because of a rain storm and we also had dinner plans. We started after lunch about 1:30 and had to quit about 4:30 to get back on the road and get to our dinner about 45 minutes away. Would have liked to have finished. We were enjoying the puzzles. I would suggest a little guidance on time frame and length of duration so we could have planned better, started earlier or something so we could finish.

Scavenger Hunt was somewhat challenging but lots of fun. It took us 3 plus hours to complete. Used a couple hints that were helpful! I would recommend this activity for a good way to check out a new location!

He hunt had areas that we had no interest in. Pretty boring for a teenager. Even worse was the app glitches and skips questions when you pause. Also areas were not open due to Covid. Overall I was underwhelmed with this hunt.

San Antonio is beautiful, have different types or activities. Its romantic, id fun, is dynamical. I like so much this city.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised and we had a good time. One question stumped us and we never got the right answer but otherwise we flew through it in about 2.2 hours. We hope to do this again in our home town and others we visit. Thanks!

Albeit a pretty hot day, my son and I enjoyed ourselves and learned much. It was nice being able to take a break for lunch to re-energize. Now back in Atlanta, I plan to do the one here with my husband. A really good value for the fun/enjoyment it brings.
