We had several experiences with Exp1 and they were all outstanding. We visited Greenwich village with Steve and Chelsea + High line with Maki and both tours were great. The guides were very informative and took us to great spots that we would otherwise had missed. We will undoubtedly repeat when we are back in NYC.

Out of a small group of maybe 11 of us, 2 had left after 40 mins, another 2 left within an hour, and thats when I left too. Our guide was bubbly but it was basically her indulging herself in sharing every bit of minutiae she knew about things that interested her, and talking for too long while we were all freezing, as we did far more standing still than walking. 1 hour in we had only moved 2 blocks. This was not artistic / alternative - it was whatever history she was interested in, including where she used to live at the university and how many biology labs are in one of the university buildings. After she’d been talking about a fire in a university building for 20 minutes i zoned out, and when she started talking about fire safety protocols, thats when i left and explored the area myself. Much more enjoyable and i kept my blood flowing too.

Awesome tour, Owen Thomson was very knowlogable and profeccional. We enjoy this tour inmensely. I would recomend Viator to my family and friends.

Helene was a wonderful and enthusiastic guide...we were glad we did this tour. I would say it was more focused on the general history of Greenwich Village rather than the artistic and alternative history but that did not at all detract from the experience. I would recommend this tour!

Helene was very knowledgeable and showed us many interesting sites as she shared the history!! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! I learned a lot about Greenwich Village, and would definitely recommend this tour to others!

Great way to experience Greenwich Village! Our guide, Chris Tipp, really gave us a feel for the Village and all that makes it special. He was very knowledgeable and took us to many interesting places. Plus, Chris had the stories to match!

We took both the Greenwich village tour and the high line & Chelsea tour with Kevin Lawrence and were so happy with both tours! Kevin is an amazing guide, probably the best one we’ve had. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but as a local his whole life, he injected a lot of interesting anecdotes, fun facts, and lots of great humor and personality. He has such a good vibe to him and it was like taking a walking tour with a very interesting friend who knows a ton about the history, the art and the architecture of these neighborhoods, and we also got some great recommendations from him about cool hangout spots and good broadway shows to check out. So very happy and would highly recommend!
