All guests must pass through airport-style security screening. Guests are advised to plan accordingly. No alcohol or weapons of any kind, legal or illegal are allowed. This includes pocket knives, scissors, pepper spray, mace, brass knuckles, etc. There is no opportunity to check prohibited items before the first screening. All prohibited items will be confiscated with no opportunity to retrieve them. Possesion of some items may result in summons or arrest.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING DEPARTURE TIME: The trip requires a ferry to reach the Statue of Liberty. The tour must depart as scheduled to stay on time and keep with the ferry schedule, therefore we unfortunately cannot wait for late arrivals. A small delay of even 5 or 10 minutes could set the tour back 20 to 30 minutes. Please plan to arrive at the meeting point AT LEAST 15 to 30 minutes or more prior to scheduled departure to compensate for any travel delays on the day of your tour. Once the guide departs we cannot guarantee that guests who haven't checked in will be able to join the tour.

NO REFUNDS are issued for missing the tour due to late arrival.
Based on availability guests may be able to re-book to another tour on another date. The ferry tickets that we purchase for your visit are non-refundable and space is limited therefore a rebooking fee will be assessed.
Tour operates in all weather conditions so please check the weather and plan accordingly. In the unlikely event that a tour must be cancelled due to weather we will notify you as soon as possible and guests will have the option to re-book for another day or receive a full refund. Re-booking is done on a first come, first served basis and is based on availability.
There is a good amount of walking on this tour. There are opportunities to sit but guests should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Tour guide Jim was exceptional. He was always interested in providing us with the best experience possible. Lady Liberty, museum, and Ellis Island were all fantastic. We were blessed with excellent weather. Good photo ops of Jersey City and Manhattan on the boat ride.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Jim as our tour guide. Jim show total professionalism, knowledge, and humor on our visit. Jim is experienced enough to know when to speak with his “people”, amend when to let them explore on their own. Jim gave us our background information before we loaded on the ferry to The Statue, that gave us more time to explore on our own. Using the down time was the sign of a great guide. When we arrived later at Ellis Island he did the same. Keep your fingers crossed you get Jim on your exploration!

We were very happy with our tour experience with Marc. He was prompt, organized in his approach, and very informative. He could answer any questions and even helped us figure out our subway route back to the hotel. He clearly knew these sites well, and sparked our interest in learning more about them.

Our tour guide, Marc, was exceptional. His knowledge of history was amazing. He was professional with a great sense of humor. Our group was only 4 people, which was very pleasant.

Our guide, Jim, was excellent. He took care of our group from the time we met, til it ended in Ellis Island. He was considerate and caring. He was informative and fun. He kept us together and hustled us to the front of long lines! He really made our trip, the best!

Jim was the perfect guide to teach us about the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. He was funny, made everything interesting (even to our 14 yr old), was assertive in just the right NY way to keep his group safe, on time and first on and off the ferry. He gave us great insider tips, took great photos of each family in front of the Statue of Liberty, and really told us everything we need to know in a shorter time than we could have spent going through every piece of the exhibits. However, time is given for going through the Statue of Liberty Museum and Ellis island Museum on your own if you want to. I am a healthcare worker and on the more extreme side of precautious for COVID-19, and was glad that I had a good mask on the ferry, because it was quite crowded and hard to distance at times (but we did find adequate space outside on the 2nd level). Jim did a great job of ensuring that everyone in our Tours group or their mask properly over their nose and mouth. I felt like it was fairly easy to socially distance in the Statue of Liberty Museum and Ellis Island buildings. Mask wearing was at least 80% for other tourists who were not on our tour. For us, it was well worth the price for this tour, and Jim was the perfect guide!

Our guided tour of Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island was perfect. Jim, the tour guide, was flawless for many reasons including: 1, his verbal presentation was animated, gregarious, humorous (he sounded like Larry David), 2, like a great guide he spent ‘standing in line time’ giving his prepared speech to save guests ‘free time’ at the Statue of Liberty, 3, he knew the best photo spots and then took photos in front of Lady Liberty for each person in his group with their respective cell phones which was a great gesture (he took photo attached to this review) 4, he kept his ‘charges’ together going through security lines, going on and off ferry boats, etc to make transitions move more quickly, and 5. guests do not have to worry about messing around with showing tickets as Jim kept the group together and just scanned a total number of guests through entry points to move things along quickly (although you will each get a ticket as a souvenir to keep as a memento). Jim is the best tour guide I’ve had in the US at any site, on any tour … period! He is ACES!

Marc our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the NY and the Statue of Liberty. He was patient and did not rush us while we stopped and took photos or if the kids needed some extra time. The museum’s and staff are wonderful and so helpful!
