During our off season when the the sunsets earlier we offer this mellower 4 mile guided paddling tour. Availability will vary during the holiday seasons.

Enjoy a tranquil "taste" of the Wailua River.
This is a perfect alternative for those who prefer to bypass the challenge of the hiking portion, have younger children or perhaps a more senior individual who would love the water adventure. Tour time is 2.5 to 3 hours.

Problems with excursion from the start. Hard to find location because no address or name of company provided. Not the leisurely paddle described. Paddled nonstop for five miles on hot day to keep up with guide. Only take this paddle if you want a strenuous upper body workout and are in very good physical shape.

It was a simple kayaking experience for those that do not want more of it than that. There was a couple that needed to leave early so I felt the group had to cut it short.

The paddle was amazing. Logan is the best guide. Viator provided the wrong meet up point and caused us to be late. Luckily the paddle people so very accommodating and friendly!

We booked a kayak tour for Tuesday, Feb 4. When we got there we were the only couple booked for that time, so we basically had a private tour with Jay. We had a great time on the river, it was a beautiful day with a bit of rain on and off. Jay is a great guide! He gave us a lot of information about Kauai and his life on the island. His pride of living in Kauai was very evident....we enjoyed listening to his stories as we paddled and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. When we got back to the dock, Jay brought us some wonderful pineapple to snack on. We will recommend Kayak Kauai and Jay to everyone we know going to the island. We also look forward to coming back again! Lee and Susan

We really enjoyed our paddle up the river. It's a beautiful area, very lush, and some rare bird sightings along the way. Our guide Jay was fantastic - very knowledgeable and very easy-going allowing us to set the pace and decide how we wanted to spend the time. Would highly recommend!
