We look forward to meeting you at our store to get all signed in and geared up. From there you'll follow your guide to the nearby launch site, Freshwater Bay County Park, in your own vehicle. Once on the water, we'll be exploring the cliffs and seastacks in and near Freshwater Bay.

This was a wonderful experience! Even for a novice like me, I was able to catch on quickly and my guide, Nina, was great and super helpful providing tips and telling us about the natural life we saw. Saw brightly colored starfish, otters, a translucent jellyfish, and a seal! Even the kelp was cool! Highly highly recommend this. The kayaking itself was incredible, being on the water was meditative. Cliffs on one side, mountains of Canada on the other...it's certainly an experience AND an upper body workout, especially if you get stuck in the kelp :) The whole staff was great, and Nina was very knowledgeable and personable. From the views to the people, if you're in Port Angeles, you should not miss this.

We had a great experience kayaking in the Straight of Juan de Fuca. We took the morning tour. Our guide, Kelsey, was expert and showed us so many wonderful sights - river otter, cormorants, a harbor seal, a kelp crab, and a kelp forest. She explained some of the traits of each. She also gave us some great tips on how to use the kayaks. The equipment was very nice. The staff at the shop made sure we had a wetsuit, life venst, and boots that fit us. They even offered an extra layer. I have paid extra for this at other places, but it was al included in the price of the trip. I was super comfy the whole time.

Nina was our guide and she was amazing. She was calm and gave clear directions. She was personable and knowledgeable. We had a great time. We kayaked at Lake Cresent and it was beautiful.

This was an amazing day on the water. They were extremely thorough and accommodating. The staff is wonderful, Nina, our guide was knowledgeable and patient and made sure we had a great time, We definitely recommend doing this.

My husband and I did the sea kayaking in freshwater bay and it was spectacular! Neither one of us had gone kayaking before and our instructor David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I actually didn’t expect to learn so much about the wildlife in the bay so that was an added bonus :) and the views were breathtaking. We will definitely do again when we are back in the area.

I loved this part of our trip. Chelsea was awesome and made the kayaking phenomenal! She’s full of fun knowledge and her love for the Olympic Peninsula was inspiring. I loved going kayaking and my only complaint is that i wish we could have gone longer! Thank you to the team who was more than accommodating and friendly at the shop and a huge thank you to Chelsea for sharing her love of the outdoors with us. It truly made all the difference hearing non stop fun facts about the area the whole time. Not only was she knowledgeable, she made sure to ask us how our trip is going, what we’re doing next, and answer any questions we have. If i ever come back, i will without a doubt do this again.

We had a great time kayaking with Crystal for the half-day tour! She was very professional, making sure that everyone in her group were safe and comfortable! She also made sure that everyone got the most out of this experience, paddling into kelp gardens, looking for marine life in several coves, pointing out all the creatures to each of us! Of course it was a perfect blue-sky day with calm water too!

Our half-day kayak tour of Freshwater Bay was wonderful and a great way to kick off our trip to the Olympic Peninsula. Our guide, Chelsea, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about the surrounding waters and environment. She provided lovely extra education on the environment. She also provided really helpful how-to's for kayaking. The entire operation was very smooth and user friendly. Thank you for a great experience.

There are so many great things to say about this. Our guide, Crystal, was very knowledgeable and fun. We were able to see river otters, a baby seal, more birds than i can count and sea stars, sea cucumbers and urchins. Overall a wonderful experience.
